An RBI
single by Jeffry Izquierdo got the scoring going for the T-breds in the bottom
of the first inning, 1-0 Hialeah.
Braddock
starter Justin Miranda would serve up a solid outing on Monday going 4 innings
strong only allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and catching the strike zone to
perfection as he would strike out 3 and not walk a single batter.
In the
top of the fifth inning the Bulldogs would cut the lead in half by capitalizing
on an error by the Catcher. The error brought in the runner from third Carlos
Cabrera making it a 2-1 ballgame.
In the
bottom of the fifth Hialeah would apply the dagger by scoring 3 runs in the
frame highlighted by RBI base hits by Alain Silva and Jeffry Izquierdo.
Adam
Gutierrez would be credited with the win going 5 2/3 strong, while allowing 2
runs on 4 hits, 4 walks, while striking out 4 Bulldogs.
