Over 1100 athletes from more than 100 teams will be playing during two international tournaments, La Ley Summer Classic and La Ley States vs. World, over the next couple of weeks at La Ley Sports Complex in Homestead, Florida.
Each athlete will be captured, categorized and featured automatically at laleysports.com thanks to a state-of-the-art Android-based mobile application running on Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet devices. The "La Ley Sports Athlete Profiler" app was developed to capture profiles via a rear-facing camera allowing the operator to capture photo and bio information such as birth date, team, height, weight and position in a disconnected way while athletes are preparing and warming up for a game to later upload profiles in batch mode to the company's back end system located in a data center near Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Athletes can later claim their profiles to upload additional pictures, merchandise preferences and view certified stats, compiled by La Ley Sports, during the course of the tournaments. As an added bonus, La Ley Sports technology platform will create automatic connections with other teammates, display the club's and teams specific information and allow parents and fans to send dedications online to their athletes playing away from home.
