Travis Rudolph, Cardinal Newman WR, verbally commits to the University of Miami.

By: Melissa Hernandez - 6/18/2012
Travis Rudolph, the wide receiver from Cardinal Newman, has verbally committed to the Miami Hurricanes 2014 football program. Rudolph was offered a scholarship from the University of Miami last Wednesday, after attending a football camp on June 9-10, hosted by University of Miami Head Coach, Al Golden. The 6 foot, 181 pound Rudolph, will be a Junior this upcoming school year at Cardinal Newman. Travis had no expectations for the UM football camp he attended, besides just being seen and maybe put on the map. From no expectations to verbal commitment, but the offer by UM was not the only offer presented to Travis. UM was among 10 other schools including West Virginia, interested in the speedy Rudolph. Although many school were interested in him his dream has always been to play for the Miami Hurricanes. A dream which will become reality come the  2014 football season.
