In
game with six combined errors, The Sheridan Hills Sharks outlasted American
Prep Academy 4-3



Academy starting Pitcher J Snider struck out seven in five innings of work
while only giving up two earned runs but, that still was not enough to outlast
the Sharks. The Sharks, who were led by Catcher Jed Wilson’s two RBI’s, went up
early on Academy 2-0. Then came the bottom half of the 3rd inning. After
Academy Catcher Dakota Cervero tied the game in the top of the third with a
single that scored two runs, Academy Shortstop Chris Sawyer committed three
errors in the bottom half of the inning resulting in two more Sharks runs and
the Sharks never relinquished the lead. The Sharks bullpen finished off Academy
by only giving up one earned run over the last four innings.
