Killian’s 4-run sixth sinks Gables 6-5

Killian and Coral Gables met Tuesday afternoon for a memorable day for both institutions at Marlins Park.

With Coral Gables up 5-2 in the sixth inning Killian’s bats set the foundation for one of the wildest finishes and largest comebacks (for what it’s worth) in Marlins Park history.

Killian would bring seven cougars to the plate but no at-bat more memorable as the electrifying go ahead 2-run Homerun by Mandy Alvarez.

The 2-run homerun would prove to be the game winner and Mandy Alvarez would join the short list of players to hit a homerun at Marlins Park.

*Coral Gables' Gerson Sotolongo would hit a Homerun of his own earlier in the inning.
